  • 2 qt. cucumbers
  • 2 qt. onions
  • 2 qt. cauliflower
  • 2 qt. celery
  • salt
  • 4 c. sugar
  • 5 Tbsp. mustard
  • 3 tsp. turmeric
  • vinegar
  • white mustard seed (optional)

Directions

    Cut vegetables in chunks and put in salt overnight.

    Drain. Mix sugar, mustard and turmeric in vinegar to cover.

    Heat through.

    Add white mustard seed, if desired.
