  • 1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter
  • 1/2 tsp. fennel seed
  • 1/2 tsp. black cumin seed
  • 1/2 tsp. fenugreek seed
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. turmeric
  • 1 tsp. finely chopped ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin
  • 1/2 tsp. ground coriander
  • 1/2 c. diced butternut, pumpkin or other squash
  • 1/2 c. cut up broccoli
  • 1/2 c. cut up green beans
  • 1/2 c. diced potato
  • 1/2 c. diced carrots

    Same as Navy Bean Pottage, but delete cabbage and pumpkin.
