- 1 prepared chocolate pie crust
- 8 oz dark chocolate (I used two XL dark chocolate Hershey bars)
- 8 oz thawed cool whip (small carton) lite is fine
- 1/4 cup coffee, cooled
- 1/3 cup sliced almonds, optional
Directions

1Place chocolate in medium glass bowl and microwave in 30 second intervals until melted.

2Stir and allow to cool slightly.

3Fold cool whip into chocolate, THEN add coffee.

4Do not add coffee first as it will cause your chocolate to seize.

5Fold in almonds, if using.

6Spread in crust and freeze 2 hours or overnight.
