  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 cups cranberries
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 (15 ounce) package double crust ready-to-use pie crust

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

    Place raisins and water in a saucepan, and allow to soak for 20 minutes.

    Stir in the cranberries and sugar; bring to a simmer.

    Cook until the cranberries are soft, about 10 minutes Pour into prepared pie shell, and cover with top piece of pastry.

    Seal the edges and flute if desired.

    Cut a few small holes in the top to vent steam.

    Bake in preheated oven until golden brown, about 35 to 45 minutes.

    Allow to cool completely before serving.
