   In a large mixing bowl, combine soda and cornstarch.

   In a 2-cup measure, combine water and food coloring.

   Pour colored water over soda mixture.

   Stir until smooth.

   Microwave at High for 4 to 8 minutes, stirring after every minute in the microwave until mixture is firm.

   Cover with a damp towel until cool.

   Knead until smooth.

   Store in airtight containers or plastic bags.
