  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 2 c. celery, diced
  • 1 c. onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 to 3 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 16 c. lightly packed soft bread crumbs
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten

    In large pot or skillet, melt butter or margarine over medium heat.

    Add celery and onion; cook until tender (about 10 minutes). Stir in bread crumbs, seasonings and eggs.

    This will stuff a 10 to 12-pound turkey or can be baked in a casserole dish along with turkey at 350° for 30 minutes.
