  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
