- 2 sticks whipped margarine
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. sugar
- 3 c. plain flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. lemon flavoring, vanilla flavoring or butternut flavoring
- dash of salt
Directions

1Cream Crisco and margarine.

2Add sugar and cream with Crisco and margarine.

3Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.

4Add flour and milk alternately, beginning and ending with flour.

5Beat well after each addition of milk and flour. Add salt and flavoring.

6Bake in 10-inch tube pan for 1 hour and 30 minutes at 300° or in sheet cake pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
