Ingredients

  • 4 bags of premade croutons, we use 14 oz bags.
  • 1/2 lb butter
  • 3 or 4 medium onion, chopped finely
  • 4 or 5 stalk celery, chopped finely
  • 32 oz chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp poultry seasoning
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 1 tbsp sage

Directions

    Saute equal amounts of the chopped onions and celery in 1/2 of the butter.

    Once softened melt in remaining butter and spices.

    Allow to cool and hand mix with crountons.
  4. 4
    Pour broth over crounton mixture and continue to combine by hand until well mixed.

    Taste it!

    Adjust spices to your liking

    Bake at 350F for 1 hour, covered in a greased casserole dish.

    If you want a crispier top uncover for the last 15 minutes.
