  • 1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 tbsp. water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 (11 1/2 ounce.) pkg. (2 c.) Nestles lowfat milk chocolate morsels
  • 2 1/2 c. wheat flake cereal, divided
  • 1 c. peanuts, minced
  • 1 c. raisins

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Grease 13 x 9 inch baking pan.

    In large mixer bowl, beat butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar till creamy.

    Beat in Large eggs, water and vanilla extract.

    Gradually beat in flour and baking soda.

    Stir in lowfat milk chocolate morsels, 2 c. cereal, peanuts and raisins.

    Spread in prepared pan.

    Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 c. cereal.

    Bake 30 to 35 min till golden.

    Cold completely.

    Cut into 2 x 1 inch bars.
