Ingredients
- 1 cake yeast
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. lukewarm water
- 4 c. wheat flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
- oil, crumbled rosemary and basil
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°.

2Add yeast and sugar to tepid water. Stir well to dissolve both.

3Add flour, salt and onion.

4Knead until smooth.

5Place in oiled bowl.

6Let rise until double.
-
7Punch down.
-
8Flatten to thickness of 1 inch on an oiled cookie sheet. Oil top and let rise to double again.

9Sprinkle with additional salt, rosemary and basil to taste.

10Bake in preheated oven for about 20 minutes until golden.

11Cut in squares to serve.

12Makes 6 to 8 servings.
