- 1/2 lb. butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 6 egg whites
- 6 egg yolks
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
Directions

1Cream butter well; add sugar gradually.

2Add egg yolks and beat well.

3Add flour and baking powder a little at a time and blend well with lemon juice.

4Fold in beaten egg whites.

5Bake in well-greased and floured jelly roll pan.

6Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes.

7Cool completely.

8Cut with water glass into moon shapes.
