- 2 cans pork and beans (any brand)
- approximately 1 lb. bacon, fried crisp
- 1/2 c. diced onion
- 1/2 c. apple juice or whiskey (I prefer apple juice)
- 1/4 c. brown sugar or molasses (2 Tbsp. sweetener if cooking for a diabetic)
Directions

1Fry onion in bacon grease; drain.

2Mix all ingredients well. Pour into a buttered baking dish.

3Bake approximately 20 to 30 minutes.

4Serve hot or cold.
