Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. fat
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 3 garlic buttons, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
  • 2 c. whole kernel corn
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. spaghetti, cooked
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 c. solid tomatoes
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 c. English peas
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 c. grated sharp cheese

Directions

    Melt fat and saute onion and garlic lightly.

    Do not brown. Add ground beef and saute.

    Add tomatoes, chili powder and water. Cook over low heat 30 minutes.

    Add mushrooms, peas, corn, salt and pepper.

    Heat.

    Add cooked spaghetti to sauce and blend well. Fill large greased baking dish with 1/2 of mixture.

    Add 1/2 of cheese and remainder of mixture.

    Top with remaining cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
