Moroccan Mint Tea

- 20 cups water
- 5 bunches of fresh mint, long stems trimmed, but leaves left attached to the stem
- 20 -35 raw sugar cubes, to your taste
- 7 -8 green tea bags
Directions

1Place the water and mint in the slow cooker; pushing the mint down into the water.

2Add the sugar cubes.

3Cover and bring to a boil on HIGH, 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

4Turn the heat to LOW and simmer for 3-4 hours.

5Add the tea bags to the mint infusion, cover, and continue to cook on LOW for another 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on when you want to serve the tea and how strong you want it.

6Discard the tea bags and the mint.

7Taste for sugar, adding more if you like a sweeter tea.

8Serve hot.
