- 4 kg mussels, cleaned and debearded
- 2 onions, chopped coarsely
- 3 stalks celery, chopped coarsely
- 12 bunch parsley
- 20 g butter
- fresh coarse ground black pepper
Directions

1After cleaning and debearding the mussels, throw away any that are open.

2Melt the butter in a large pot that has a lid and saute the onions and celery for about 3-4 minutes with stirring.

3Put the cleaned mussels in the pot and cover them with the parsley.

4Season with pepper.

5Put the lid on the pot and let the mussels cook for about 15 minutes, or until they have opened.

6Serve them from the pot with french fries and mayonnaise.
