- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 2 c. (1 lb.) canned tomatoes
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. water
- bay leaf (optional)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 8 oz. mostaccioli, cooked and drained
- 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese, sliced thin
- grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Brown meat and drain.

3Add green pepper and onion.

4Cook until tender.

5Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, water and seasonings.

6In a 2-quart casserole dish, layer half the noodles, half the meat sauce and half the Velveeta cheese.

7Repeat layers.

8Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

9Bake 30 minutes.
