Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 2 c. tomatoes
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 8 oz. mostaccioli noodles, cooked
  • 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese, sliced
  • grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Cook and drain noodles. Set aside. Brown meat. Add green peppers and onions. Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, water and seasoning.

    In a 2-quart casserole, layer half the noodles, meat sauce and Velveeta cheese. Repeat. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
