Mostaccioli Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) box mostaccioli noodles
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 6 drops yellow food coloring
  • 1/2 c. white vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt (heaping)
  • 1 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 2 tsp. Accent
  • 1 large cucumber, peeled and cubed
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt

Directions

    Cook noodles in boiling water with food coloring.

    Cool in cold water.

    Drain well.

    Pour oil over noodles.

    Toss well.

    Blend in blender the remaining ingredients.

    Pour over noodles and chill. For color and taste, add chopped green pepper, radish, celery, tomatoes, etc.

    Stir occasionally.

    May be made a couple of days in advance for full flavor.

    Can be kept in refrigerator for a week.
