- 2 pkg. yeast
- 2 1/2 c. warm water
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 6 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
Directions

1Cut shortening into flour.

2Put yeast in warm water.

3Add sugar and ingredients.

4Form into ball; let rise, then make out rolls in pan and let rise again.

5Bake in hot oven at 400° until brown.
