- 1 c. pitted prunes
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1/2 c. white granulated sugar
- 2 beaten egg whites
- 1 baked pastry shell
Directions

1Cook prunes with a little water.

2Mash fine and add the chopped nuts.

3Add the sugar to the beaten egg whites; beat well again.

4Add the prune and nut mixture.

5Put the prune stuff into a baked pastry shell.

6Bake very slowly for about 25 minutes.

7Serve with a generous dollop of real whipped cream.
