- 1/4 lb. butter
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 can sour cherries
Directions

1Melt butter in a deep, good-sized baking dish.

2Mix dry ingredients; add milk, mix into a batter and pour into the melted butter without stirring.

3Add 3/4 cup sugar to a can of sour cherries and pour the cherries and juice into the middle of batter.

4Do not stir.

5Bake at 375° for about an hour.

6Serve with whipped cream, topped with a cherry.
