- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. apple cider vinegar
- 1 c. water
- 2 heads cabbage, shredded
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 1 bunch celery, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 red onion, chopped
- 1 carrot, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. celery seed
- 1 Tbsp. mustard seed
Directions

1Boil water, sugar and vinegar for 3 minutes; set aside to cool.

2Toss shredded cabbage with salt; let set for 1 hour.

3Then add remaining ingredients.

4After liquid has cooled, pour over slaw mixture.

5Cover and refrigerate overnight.

6Makes 25 or more servings.
