Mozzarella Spaghetti Skillet

  • 1 lb. lean hamburger
  • 2 c. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 1 c. chopped green peppers
  • 1 can tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 1/2 c. broken spaghetti
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. shredded Mozzarella

Directions

    Combine beef, mushrooms, onions and green pepper in a large fry pan (preferably nonstick).

    Saute over medium heat until meat is browned and vegetables are tender.

    Drain fat.

    Cut up tomatoes and add tomatoes and juice to pan.

    Stir in water, seasoning and salt. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until pasta is cooked, stirring occasionally.

    Add cheese, stir until melted. Serves 5 to 6.
