  • 1 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix sugar, syrup and water.

    Cook on medium heat to hard ball stage (260°).

    Pour in a fine stream onto 2 beaten egg whites. Beat until it loses its gloss.

    Add nuts and vanilla.

    Spoon onto waxed paper.

    Makes about 50 pieces.
