- 1 packet dry yeast
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt, plus more for sprinkling on top
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 1/2 cups chilled water
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 8 inch bread loaf pan
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

2Dissolve yeast in warm water and set aside.

3Mix four, salt, and sugar. Add yeast.

4Mix well and then add chilled water, little by little. The dough will be wet.

5Cover dough with damp towel and let sit for 45 minutes.

6Coat loaf pan with 1/2?1 teaspoon olive oil.

7Put dough in pan.

8Brush top with remaining olive oil and sprinkle top with kosher salt, about 1/4 teaspoon.

9Bake at 425 degrees for 25?30 minutes or until golden brown and sides of dough pull away from pan.
