Mud Hens

   Cream margarine and sugar.

   Add 2 egg yolks and 1 whole egg. Mix well.

   Add flour and vanilla; mix well.

   Spread in slightly greased 9 x 9 x 1 3/4-inch pan.

   Beat 2 egg whites until stiff; add brown sugar and nuts.

   Spread over first mixture.

   Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

   When cool, cut in squares.
