- 1 recipe Chocolate Cookie Crust (page 21), baked in a deep 10-inch pie plate and chilled
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 2/3 cup marshmallows
- 1 (5-ounce) can evaporated milk
- 1 quart coffee ice cream
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Directions

1Set the ice cream out to soften.

2Combine the chocolate chips, marshmallows, and milk in a small saucepan.

3When the milk begins to steam, start stirring and continue until the chips and marshmallows are completely melted and the mixture is smooth.

4Let cool.

5Spoon half of the ice cream into the crust, cover with half of the chocolate mixture, then repeat the layers.

6Top with the walnuts.

7Freeze for at least 30 minutes before serving.
