- 1 c. butter, softened
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 4 c. cake flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 1/3 c. milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add eggs one at a time and beat until fluffy.

3Mix baking powder with salt until there are no lumps and add flour.

4Alternately beat in dry ingredients and milk.

5Add vanilla.

6Half fill buttered muffin pans or paper baking cups placed in muffin tins.

7Bake at 425° for about 11 minutes on middle shelf of oven.

8Makes about 3 dozen.
