- 1/2 c. cooking oil
- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 1/3 c. sugar

1Heat oven to 400°.

2Grease bottoms only of about 12 muffin cups (2 1/2 x 1 1/4-inches) or line with paper baking cups.

3Beat egg in medium bowl; stir in milk and oil.

4Stir in flour and sugar all at once just until flour is moistened (batter will be lumpy). Fill muffin cups about 3/4 full.

5Bake until golden brown, 15 to 20 minutes.

6Remove from pan immediately.
