Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-natural cranberry juice
  • 1 inch of fresh gingerroot, peeled
  • A long curl of orange peel
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 whole cloves
  • 1 quart apple cider, the cloudy kind
  • 1 cup whole cranberries, for garnish (optional)

Directions

    Steep the juice, ginger, orange peel, cinnamon, cloves, and cider and keep warm in a pot over low heat.

    Strain the cider as you serve and garnish with a few cranberries if desired.
