Ingredients: 1 egg; water (enough so that, combined with egg, amounts to 1 cup); 2 tablespoons olive oil; 2 tablespoons white sugar; 1 1/2 teaspoons salt; 1 cup whole wheat flour; 2 cups bread flour; 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast; 2 tablespoons walnuts; 2 tablespoons sunflower seeds (or 1/4 cup of any mix of nuts grains, oats, cracked wheat, etc.)

2 tablespoons walnuts

All ingredients should be at room temperature.

Place all ingredients except for nuts/grains in bread machine the order shown. Add nuts/grains before the second kneeding (some bread machines beep when it is okay to open the lid to add ingredients - mine does this at 2:25).
