- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/3 c. chopped shallots
- 8 oz. chopped mushrooms
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp. salt and pepper
- 4 oz. cream cheese or low-fat cream cheese
Directions

1Melt butter over moderate heat.

2Add shallots and cook for about 1 minute.

3Add mushrooms, garlic, salt and pepper.

4Cook for about 5 minutes, until mushrooms have released their juices. Raise heat to high; cook until mixture is almost dry, about 4 minutes.

5Remove from heat and let cool.
