- 3 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (room temperature)
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine (room temperature)
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- Mushroom Filling
Directions

1Mix cream cheese and butter together thoroughly.

2Add flour and mix well.

3Will be soft and creamy feeling.

4Chill well.

5(Can make a day or two ahead of time for use, keep wrapped well.)

6Roll dough to 1/8-inch thickness on lightly flattened surface, cut with 2-inch to 3-inch biscuit cutter.

7Place approximately a teaspoon of filling in center and fold over the dough.

8Press edges together with fork and prick top crusts to allow steam to escape.

9Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake until lightly browned, 10 to 15 minutes.

10(Pastry is good with preserve filling.)
