- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 1/2 c. uncooked rice (1 pkg. Uncle Ben's wild rice and rest regular rice)
- 1 can onion soup
- 1 can beef consomme
- 2 small cans mushrooms
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Melt butter in 2-quart casserole dish.

2Stir in rice to coat. Add soups and mushrooms; mix.

3Bake, covered, at 350° for 1 hour. Stir occasionally.

4Remove; sprinkle with cheese.

5Return to oven for 5 minutes.
