  • 1 1/2 c. raw rice
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 1 can beef broth
  • 1 can onion soup
  • 1/4 lb. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced

Directions

    Melt butter in 2-quart casserole dish and add rice, broth and soup.

    Top mixture with mushrooms.

    Cover and bake in 325° oven for 55 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender. Uncover and top with cheese.

    Bake for 5 minutes more.
