  • 1 (9-inch) deep dish pie shell
  • 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
  • 1/4 c. sliced onions
  • 1 c. half and half
  • 1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Brush the inside of pie shell with a small amount of the beaten eggs.

    Prick bottom and sides with a fork.

    Bake shell for 5 minutes or until light golden brown in a 425° oven for metal pan or 450° for glass plate.

    Reduce temperature to 350° for metal pan or 375° for glass plate.
