- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/3 c. margarine
- 1 (6 oz.) can chopped mushrooms
- 1 c. uncooked long grain rice
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef consomme (Campbell's soup)
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Saute onion in melted margarine.

2Add mushrooms, rice, consomme, water, salt and pepper.

3Pour into greased 2-quart dish. Cover; bake for 1 hour at 350°.
