  • 1/2 lb. mushrooms, chopped finely
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. m.s.g.
  • 1 c. light cream
  • 2 tsp. minced chives
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice

    Saute mushrooms in butter until soft.

    Blend in flour, salt and m.s.g.

    Stir in cream.

    Cook until thick.
