Mushroom Salad

Ingredients
- 1 lb. fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. sour cream
- 3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 1/8 tsp. each thyme and tarragon
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 head leaf or Boston lettuce
- paprika
Directions

1Wash mushrooms and discard stems; slice thinly.

2Place mushrooms and water in a small saucepan.

3Bring water to boil and reduce heat.

4Cover and steam for 2 to 3 minutes.

5Drain well. Combine mushrooms, sour cream, mayonnaise, thyme, tarragon, ginger and salt.

6Chill until ready to serve.

7Spoon over leaf lettuce; sprinkle lightly with paprika.
