Mushroom Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. heavy cream
  • 3 Tbsp. flour (add additional flour, if needed)
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 dashes Worcestershire sauce

Directions

    Saute mushrooms with butter or margarine.

    Add the cream and salt to taste.

    Thicken with flour (mix flour with water). While cooking, add the Worcestershire sauce to hot mixture and then refrigerate overnight to thicken.

    Use to make tea sandwiches.
