- 12 lb mushroom, sliced
- 14 cup butter or 14 cup margarine
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash white pepper
- 1 dash nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 14 cup whipping cream
- 4 slices firm bread, toasted
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Directions

1Saute mushrooms in heated butter in a large pan until they begin to brown lightly.

2Mix in garlic, salt, pepper, nutmeg, lemon juice and cream.

3Cook stirring until cream starts to thicken.

4Remove from heat.

5Place bread in a single layer on an ungreased baking sheet.

6Spoon mushrooms evenly over toast and sprinkle with parsley.

7Bake at 450F until mushrooms and cream look bubbly, 5-8 minutes.

8Serve at once.

9Slice into triangles for appetizers.
