- 1 lb. mushrooms
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. shortening
- salt and pepper
- 2 Tbsp. sour cream
Directions

1Wash mushrooms; cut in thin slices.

2Soak 1/2 hour in salt water.

3Cover with water and cook until tender.

4Add shortening to skillet brown lightly chopped onion, simmer a few minutes.

5Add mushrooms and sour cream, salt and pepper.

6Stir.

7Serve with meat.
