- 3/4 cup pickling salt
- Dressing
- 1 cup flour
- 4 cups sugar
- 2 cups vinegar
- 2 cups hot water
- 2 tablespoons dry mustard
- 1 tablespoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
Directions

1combine vegetable, sprinkle with salt and let stand for 2 hours and then drain. Boil dressing for 5 minutes, add vegetables. Boil for 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Add 1 tsp butter and 1 cup whipping cream. Pour into pint jars and seal.
