- 1 envelope Knox gelatine
- 1 Tbsp. cold water
- 1/3 c. boiling water
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/3 tsp. salt
- 3 tsp. dry mustard
- 2/3 c. vinegar
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 pt. whipping cream
Directions

1Soak the gelatine in 1 tablespoon cold water in top of a double boiler.

2Dissolve in boiling water.

3Mix sugar, salt and mustard together to remove lumps in mustard. Add vinegar.

4Add to this mixture the beaten egg, then mix with gelatine and water. Cook in double boiler until thick (about like boiled custard). Remove from fire. Cool. When cool, but not set, fold in whipping cream.

5Put in ring mold and chill.

6Can put cole slaw in center, if desired.

7Serves 12.
