  • 2 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 1-1/2 tbp flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup prepared mustard
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp worcestershire sauce

Directions

    1. melt butter in small saucepan; remove from heat. Stir in flour, s&p, til smooth. Stir in milk. Bring to boiling over medium heat, stirring until thick.

    2. Gradually stir in mustard, sugar, vinegar, worcestershire. Reduce heat, and simmer, stirring 2 minutes. Serve warm.
