My Bean Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 cans green beans, drained
  • 2 cans wax beans, drained
  • 2 cans kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can lima beans (green), drained
  • 1 can chickpeas, drained
  • 1 large onion (white), sliced in rings
  • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium red pepper, chopped or 1 small jar pimentos
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1/2 c. Wesson oil
  • 2 c. vinegar
  • 1 3/4 c. sugar

Directions

    Mix all beans with celery.

    Mix oil, vinegar and sugar together until sugar dissolves, then pour over vegetables.

    Keep in tightly covered container in refrigerator.

    Will keep for weeks.
