Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1 c. warm (not hot) water
  • 3 c. self-rising flour or enough to make soft dough
  • 1 well beaten egg
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 c. Wesson oil

Directions

    Dissolve yeast in water and combine last 3 ingredients. Add flour to

    Cover and let rise 1 hour.

    Roll out dough

    and cut

    biscuit

    cutter.

    Dip

    each roll in melted butter

    fold

    pocketbook rolls. (I cut with biscuit cutter

    brush or spoon on melted margarine.) Let rise 2 hours.

    Bake in hot oven at 450° for about 8 minutes or until done.
