- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 c. ham, cooked and slivered
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 to 5 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/2 green pepper, chopped fine
- 1 (9 oz.) can pineapple
- 1 to 5 Tbsp. each cornstarch and vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 c. packed precooked rice
- pinch of cloves
Directions

1Melt butter (1/2) and add green peppers and ham and cook for 5 minutes.

2Drain pineapple.

3Keep liquid, cut up in bite size pieces.

4Mix liquid and next 6 ingredients.

5Stir into ham mixture and cook until thick.

6Add pineapple and heat.

7Prepare rice adding remaining butter and cloves after rice has warmed a few minutes. Serve with ham.
