Ingredients

  • 2 large onion, chopped
  • 2 large stalks of celery chopped
  • 28 oz cornbread dressing
  • 4 large eggs as a binder
  • 4 large boiled eggs
  • 1 large turkey neck
  • 1 large turkey gizzard
  • 1 large turkey heart
  • 3 quart water
  • 1 tbsp poulrty seasonings
  • 32 chicken broth

    Preheat oven 350 Fahrenheit

    Take the giblets from the turkey and neck put into 3 quarts water and bring to boil
  3. 3
    Chop the onions and celery boil 4 eggs let cool set aside
  4. 4
    Pick the meat off the neck of turkey put back into boiling stock of giblets
  5. 5
    Add onions and celery to giblet stock let cook about 30 minutes
  6. 6
    Mix the poultry seasonings, celery, onions, stock and broth with dressing along with the giblet stock along with eggs for binding , make sure the giblet stock is cooled down or you will have scrambled binders

    Mix all together really well add to an oven safe pan raise the temperature to 375Fahrenheit bake as temperature rises for an hour bottom rack of oven

    Last 15 minutes of cooking put on top rack of oven

    Helpful hint my mom said save the chicken broth for last to cool down the giblet stock so binding eggs don't scramble
